Welcome to Recipair. By accessing or using our mobile application and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

By creating an account, accessing, or using Recipair, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

Recipair is a recipe discovery and management platform that allows users to:

• Search for recipes by ingredients
• Submit and share recipes
• Create and organize recipe books
• Follow other users and discover recipes
• Access premium features through subscription

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the service
• One person or entity may maintain only one account

3.2 Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4. User Content

• By submitting content, you grant us a license to display, distribute, and modify it within the service

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Premium Subscription

• Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings
• Refunds are subject to Apple's or Google's refund policies

5.2 Subscription Terms

• Premium subscriptions grant access to advanced features for the duration of the subscription
• We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days notice
• If payment fails, your subscription may be suspended until payment is restored

6. Intellectual Property

• The Recipair app, logo, and design are our intellectual property
• Recipe content from third-party sources (e.g., Spoonacular) is subject to their respective licenses
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our app or content without permission

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Impersonate others or provide false information

8. Service Availability

• We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
• We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse or harass other users
• Fail to pay subscription fees

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
